- If you played U12 and Up BSA offers teams that will compete in the JUSA Spring League
JUSA has released the following key dates for Spring soccer:
- Team Application Deadline - Feb 10, but the sooner the better
- Team Fee Payment Deadline - Feb 20
- Schedule Posted - TBD
- Season Begins - March 13 and runs through May 16
- Playoffs - May 22 & 23
Spring Soccer for U12 and up is run through JUSA. Brea Soccer Association plans to assist Brea coaches with their Spring Soccer teams. We can help with registration through the JUSA Spring Soccer program. BSA will provide local Brea practice fields for BSA teams. BSA will offer JUSA our local Brea fields to be used for BSA home games. BSA reserves the right to approve coaches and teams and to request an accounting of income and expenses for any team assisted by BSA or that uses Brea fields and resources for practice.
TEAM COACHES, U12 and up, start asking players if they are available. You enter Spring Soccer as an entire team – there is no draft. This means you can bring your existing team or add players from other teams, and also get new players. You’re responsible for forming your team, submitting applications, collecting money, etc. You’ll need to decide to use the uniforms you currently have or to purchase new ones. Once you decide that you will coach a Spring Soccer team please notify BSA and let us know when you have a full team or if you need additional players.
PARENTS, if your child wants to play spring soccer please contact us and we will help you find a team for your player. Your current Coach may carry his or her own team into spring soccer so ask early; or, another Coach may form a team from your division, so start looking.
