All check requests and directives received by 9:00 AM Friday will be
processed by following board meeting. The checks will be available the
day after the board meeting. All check request must include a BSA directive
(shown below). The directives may be submitted via email to treasurer@breasoccer.org.
BSA is a non profit 501(c)(3) and public charity 509(a)(2) organization
as determined by the Internal Revenue Code. Please view the attached document
for verification of our status with the Department of Treasury.
2006 & 2007 Profit & Loss Statements
Our goal is to provide a quality soccer program at an affordable cost.
We will strive to provide our members with timely and useful financial
information. The information below gives you a high level overview
of the organization’s revenue and expenses.
Brea Soccer Association will post monthly financial statements by the
end of the first week of the next month (ie; May month end will be posted
by June 9th)
Should a member of Brea Soccer Association (parent, coach, player) request
clarification or copies of an item shown on the monthly financial statements,
the member must put the request in writing stating the date of the financial
statement where the item is shown, the question about the item, and any
other pertinent information about the item.
In turn, the BSA Treasurer will respond to verify receipt of the request
and bring the request to the BSA Board of Directors. Should the
BOD find the question is justified, a written response will be issued
within 30 days from the date that the request was received, with the requested
information.
Should a vendor (including referees) of Brea Soccer Association question
the status of payment of an invoice/payment voucher, they should fax or
email the question of status to the Treasurer. The Treasurer will
in turn respond within 7 days from the date of the inquiry, whether the
payment has been issued and the corresponding check number or when the
payment is scheduled to be issued.
