Livescan technology allows digitally scanned fingerprints to be submitted electronically to the Department of Justice within a matter of minutes and allows criminal background checks to be processed usually within 72 hours. In California, fingerprinting must be done by a certified fingerprint roller or qualified law enforcement personnel. The Livescan process must be completed prior to the start of the season (or before assuming team duties).
• If you have completed the Livescan process through BSA before, you do not need to do it again.
• If you are new to BSA but have completed the Livescan process before with another soccer league within Calsouth, contact the Registrar to transfer that information.
• If you have either completed Livescan before for something other than a Calsouth soccer position (such as baseball, softball, work), or have never done the Calsouth Livescan, submit your Administrator form to the Registrar prior to completing Livescan.
• Anyone with doubts about their risk management status should contact the Registrar to confirm if they need to repeat the Livescan process.
