End of Season Info & Schedules by Division

COACHES - things needing to be done to complete the season and get the medals for your teams:
  • Fill out the AC Brea Recreational Player Evaluation Form - your division director will send you this file.
  • Once the Eval From is complete and turned in to your division director we will issue you your team medals
  • Set up an end of year team party, there are a lot of good places to go, we recommend Round Table Pizza in Brea. Wherever you do it, be sure to call and reserve a space for your team and ask about AC Brea discounts and deals.
  • Participate in the Brea City Championships - this is competition for all teams (except Clinic) on November 12 & 19 (depending on your division).
  • Information is coming from your division director on playoffs (December) and All-stars (January for U10+)

CLINIC

  • Your last regular season games are this weekend, there will be no clinic games on November 19.

U8

  • Your last regular season games are this weekend, there will be no clinic games on November 19.
  • U8 All-stars will take place the week after Thanksgiving. You U8 director will give you details on how many players from each team will be selected

U10

  • Boys - All teams will play in either the quarterfinals or consolation game on November 12.
  • Girls - Last regular season game on November 12.
  • Boys & Girls - Semi-finals and Finals will be played on November 19.

U12

  • Last regular season games on November 19.
  • SoCal Premier League Playoffs December 3/4
  • Regional Playoffs - December 10/11 - TBD (Waiting on Calsouth)

U14

  • Regular Season games are over
  • The two boys and the two girls U14 teams will play against each other for the City Championships on Saturday, Nov 19
  • Boys 9am, Brea Sports Park field #4
  • Girls 10:30am, Brea Sports Park field #4

New Age Groups & Team sizes

The new recreational breakdown for the Fall 2016 season is as follows:

Division / Year(s) of birth / game format / roster size
U19 - 1998, 1999 & 2000. 11v11. Team size will be between 14-18 players
U16 - 2001 & 2002. 11v11. Team size will be between 14-18 players
U14 - 2003 & 2004. 11v11. Team size will be between 14-15 players

U12 - 2005 & 2006. 9v9. Team size will be between 11-13 players
U10 - 2007 & 2008. 7v7. Team size will be between 9-11 players
U8 - 2009 & 2010. 4v4. Team size will be between 11-12 players. On game days, two games will be played at the same time.
Clinic - 2011 & 2012. 3v3. Team size will be between 8-10 players. On game days, two games will be played at the same time.

 

The AC Brea City Soccer League

Our primary objective is to organize youth soccer teams for league play and provide a fun and rewarding environment to enjoy the game. As a full service soccer organization we will provide a place for every player in the city of Brea and surrounding communities to express their talents in the game of soccer. We will deliver ongoing coaches education and complete player development programs to all players in all aspects of the game; technically, tactically, physically and psychologically.

Players from the age of 4 to 19 can play in our City (Recreational) Divisions.

What does a Fall season look like?

  • Players must register (online or at a registration day) sometime between March -June 30th. (Late Fee applies after May 14th.)
  • Fall season starts in August with practices
  • Regular season games begin just after Labor Day weekend
  • Regular season games end just before Thanksgiving
  • For U10 and up play-offs are in December
  • All-star players selected will play in a tournament in January
