All Star PLayers - Join AC Brea for a 6 Week Mini Winter Practice Session

All Star Parents,

As discussed during All Star week, please join our Boys and Girls AC Brea Teams starting January 3, 2011 at Brea Sports Park Field #5 for our 6 week Winter Mini Practice Session. Our goal is to provide another fun 6 weeks of professional soccer training and get players and parents organized to continue on with Spring Soccer via Coast Soccer League. Details Below:

When: January 3 - February 16, Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30PM - 7:00PM

Where: Brea Sports Park Field #5

Cost: $20 for six weeks training

Boys: Joey Tosta and Keith Eurich will coordinate the boys

Girls: Luis Murillo and Christy Horning will coordinate the girls

Boys 96 Tryouts - First Practice Sessions

B96 is Moving Forward

We are pleased to announce an official tryout/training session:

The AC Brea Boys 96 squad is in its formation process. This team is for boys born after August 1^st, 1996. We will hold mandatory training sessions March 6^th, 8^th, and the 15^th at the Brea Sports Park field 4 from 6:30 -8:00 p.m. Each session will consist of both technical and tactical elements. Players will be evaluated based on these two elements of their game. It is expected that players are fit enough for this evaluation process. If you are interested in attending this training session please contact Stephen Teal at srteal2@att.net or Julian Laverde at jlaverde@sbcglobal.net.

Boots and guards are mandatory for this session.

Please bring water.

Boys Under 9 Win PSA Winter Cup 2011 Tournament

Since August of 2011, this AC Brea Soccer Club Boys Under 9 Team has made it as the Finalist in the Brea Classic Tournament; Champions in the South Coast Strikers Cup Tournament; placed 2nd in their Coast Soccer League; made it to Sweet 16 in League Cup; and recently won 4 games to take home the championship at the PSA Winter Cup 2011 Tournament in Yorba Linda on December 10-11, 2011. They finished the seasonwith a record of 23-5-3.

Coach of the Year - Marius Rus

Marius Rus, coach of AC Brea's U10 and U11 Silver teams was named Coach of the Year, at the coaches dinner. Marius coached the two teams to a 19-1-4 record this season. The U11 team went undefeated with a perfect 12-0-0 record. Both teams will advance to Silver Elite or Gold next year and Marius is looking for talented players to add depth to the rosters. The U10 team will be playing 11v11 for the first time and will be adding several new players to the team.
