Procedures for Setting up and Taking down Fields - UPDATED
HOME TEAM of the first game is responsible to pick up the nets and flags
at Brea Junior High Snack Shack.
Both teams assist with setup of goals/nets/flags.
Last game of the day - both teams assist with locking up the goals and
taking down the nets and flags. The Home team returns the nets and flags
to Brea Junior High Snack Shack.
If your last game is ending later than 4 PM (snack shack will be closed),
you can drop the nets/flags off at Scott Rojas' house. He lives at 233
Saint Crispen Ave. From Brea Junior High, go west on Lambert, make left
on Napoli (first street past Brea Blvd), and another left on Saint Crispen.
You can leave the nets/flags on his porch.
Goal locks
The fields listed below have goals locked near the field. Please close
the lock if you remove the goals. This will prevent the lock and chain
from being "lost".
Last game of the day - Lock up the goals again when you are done. Do not
leave the goals out. The school district feels this is a safety problem
when the goals are left on the field.
Combinations for Goals:
BJH Goal Cage - 4998
Laurel - 1020
Mariposa - 1017
Tamarack - 1018
Arovista - 1022
Fanning - 1703
In case of bad weather - Field Condition Hotline: The number to call to
make sure the fields are open to play on is 714-671-4437.
Note Concerning Elementary School Restrooms: Brea Olinda Unified School
District has allowed Brea Soccer to use the restrooms on the weekends.
We have hired a person to open/clean/close the restrooms on Saturday and
Sunday. Brea Soccer needs to ensure that no damage or repair goes unreported.
Coaches, please have a parent, coach or Team Rep patrol the Elementary
School restrooms at least once (before game, halftime, or after game)
while your team is at the field. Please call Elliot Weber if you notice
any damage or repair required, 714 309-9311.
There will be more information emailed to tell coaches how we are recording
scores this year. This has been a little more difficult than I thought.
More information will definitely follow.
Game cards (blank) are at the snack shack.
