This Saturday, July 17th, Brea is hosting a re certification class for experienced referees who do not have a 2010 badge. All referees must have a new badge to be eligible to work any games. The class will go from 9 AM  until 2 PM at the Brea Civic Center, 2nd floor, Community Room A. The cost is $15 and registration is through the Cal South Website at www.calsouth.com. Follow the referee link to clinic schedule and find our class. Dress is casual, bring a pen and paper for notes which can be used to take your test.

 

For all those interested in becoming a referee.  Cal South has numerous R9 and Grade 8 classes nearby for you to take. The R9 program is a one day class for those interested in refereeing recreational games with kids 14 and under.  The grade 8 program is a day and a half program that allows you to referee all levels of games with kids under 19.  Brea is always looking for referees and this year is no exception. We will have many opportunities to referee every Saturday in the Signature, Recreation and Sparks divisions for referees.
