FIELD CLOSURES
For BSA Fields, unless the field closure has been published on the BSA
website or recorded on the BSA Mudline (714/671-4437), coaches and their
teams should go to the field and be prepared to play. If the field has
not been closed by the City, School District, or BSA, the referee makes
the determination as to whether the game is to be played.
In case of rain or other inclement weather (including poor air quality),
the BSA Mudline will be updated for field closures by 8:00 a.m. on game
days and by 4:00 p.m. on practice days.
If you are playing away from Brea, please check the following links and
phone numbers for additional information:

For any clinic and U8 games, since there is no BSA referee, the coaches
make the determination as to whether the game is to be played. As long
as it is safe, play the game. U6, U7, and U8 games will not be rescheduled.
BSA will make reasonable attempts to reschedule all games for U10 and
above. This may necessitate playing games on Sunday afternoons and/or
having two games on a Saturday.
Brea Jr High Field - Summer 2008
BSA is committed to improving our facilities. During the summer of 2008
the city of Brea, the school district and BSA worked to improve the playing
conditions as the Brea Jr. High. This combined effort will not only provide
better playing conditions for BSA, but for the entire community of Brea.
